Renaming a Project

In the Laser Map Maker dashboard, projects are central to managing your work. Each project contains your layers, features, tools, settings, and formatting preferences. You can easily rename, duplicate, delete, or create a new project from the dashboard to help keep your work organized and accessible.

How to Rename a Project

Overview:

Renaming a project is quick and simple. Whether you need to update a project's name for clarity or accuracy, follow the steps below to make the change.

Steps:

1. Go to the Dashboard: Navigate to the project dashboard where all of your existing projects are listed.

2. Find the Project: Locate the project you want to rename in your project list.

3. Click the three little dots: Click the three-dot menu (or "More Options") next to the project name.

4. Select ‘Rename’: From the dropdown menu, select the Rename option.

5. Enter the New Name: A text box will appear. Type the new name for your project.

6. Save Your Changes: Click the Rename Project button to confirm the new name.
